Fairy Tale Wedding Dresses: Look Like a Princess!

Throughout childhood, we are told fascinating stories about a kindhearted woman who finds her prince charming and lives happily ever after. A bride’s wedding day is her entrance into her happily ever after. Why not embrace the fairy tale wedding trend and feel like a real princess on your wedding day? Fairy tale wedding dresses are modern styles that pay tribute to the legendary princesses.

There are two types of wedding dresses that are inspired by fairy tales and Disney movies. Some designers choose to copy a dress directly from Disney. Some women may treasure the look of a Disney princess and want that exact gown. However, these gowns often look more like Halloween costumes than sophisticated wedding dresses.

Another design option is the dress that is inspired by fairy tales and Disney princesses without copying the original. These fairy-tale inspired wedding dresses have a classic princess feel but have their own sense of style and originality. While trendy, they still have a traditional appearance.

One designer leading the way in classic princess creations is Alfred Angelo. The Alfred Angelo Disney wedding gowns are unique and stylish. The collection offers many variations in form and material. Any woman who wants a wedding dress that was inspired by the legendary princesses can choose a flattering fit from the collection.

Sleeveless ball gowns, A-line, sheath, and sleek mermaid styles are included in the collection. Therefore, each bride can select from the style that is most flattering for her body type. The ball gown wedding dresses have a tight-fitting bodice and full skirt. The soft layered skirts provide that classic ball gown fullness that often is associated with a fairy tale princess’ dress. Many of the mermaid-style fairy tale wedding dresses have sculpted fabric that flatters the bride and creates an amazing silhouette. The sheath wedding dresses have an elegant, simple style with beaded fabric.

  1. The dress pictured is so beautiful – I love traditional styles. One thing to keep in mind when buying a princess type dress – make sure it’s easy to get in and out of it. My friend got a little carried away with the idea and got a dress with so many buttons and petticoats etc that she needed major assistance to do anything while wearing it – bonus, she couldn’t even go to the bathroom without an entourage to help her. Don’t do that.
