Megan and Curtis Proposal Story: Snowboarding Surprise

Every year my fiancé (Curtis) and I and a group of our friends go on a snowboarding trip. On the second day of our trip we went out snowboarding and a few headed in early. By the time the rest of us came in for lunch the few who went in early were getting ready to head back out. I found out that part of the hill was going to close soon so I started getting antsy to head back out too. Everyone was being really slow in going back out to the hill, but little did I know that they were all doing it on purpose. Once we finally got back out to the hill and on the chair lift my cousin calls. Curtis was trying to get me to wait for her since she is going to be my maid of honor, but I was too set on going so she ended up being a few chairs on the lift behind us :( I answered her call to let her know what chair lift we went on and Curtis kept asking me to please get off the phone. I was kind of confused, but as I hung up I looked down and saw the few of our friends who left the cabin early. Then I looked above them and in the snow, written in Kool aid, it said "Megan Will You Marry Me?" Then Curtis pulled out the ring and put it on my finger! There was a group of people watching and waiting for us to come up the hill and they all started cheering. I yelled, "YES!" for everyone to hear even though I was crying, because I was completely surprised! Also, our friends in front of us on the chair lift got the whole engagement on video. :) |
