My engagement was a MAGICAL surprise.
My fiancé and I had booked a trip to Orlando, Florida to go visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, I was so excited when we booked the trip, little did I know just how MAGICAL the trip was about to become. On August 3, 2017, we had spent the entire day at Universal Studios, going between the two theme parks on the Hogwarts Express, taking in the sites, and going on all the rides, which involved putting all our belongings into lockers (the ring was put in lockers!... and I didn't even notice!) Closer to the end of the day my fiancé started getting a little more flustered trying to scout out the perfect location to pop the question, little to my knowledge he had asked a woman in the Harry Potter gift shop to take photos as he was planning to propose in there, but as luck would have it, he chose the only woman in there who did not know how to use a phone camera lol. Since that idea did not pan out we had moved on to the Jurassic Park area, with the new plan of proposing by the raptors, because we are also huge dinosaur fans, but this attraction had closed for the day. I honestly still had no clue at this point. We ended up finding a nice secluded area that had a view of the whole theme park across a pond, it was at this point here where I pulled out my selfie stick to take a picture of us with the backdrop. As I adjusted the camera for our picture, I discovered my fiancé down on one knee with the ring ?? I was so over joyed and excited that I don't remember what was said exactly, but I said YES!!! ??????. I tried to get as many pictures as I could in the moment, but only so many turned out lol, after this we ran around the park capturing pictures with my fiancé and ring. It was by far the best day of our trip! |
