Ross just got a new job and was being sent to Nashville, Tennessee for 2 weeks for training. Since dating for 2 years we had not been apart that long, and decided I would fly out for the weekend for a mini weekend get away. I flew into Nashville Friday afternoon after traveling all day. When I got to the hotel Ross said he wanted to go get a new pair of jeans at Nordstroms Rack for his boots. When we got to the store he told me he wanted me to have new jeans too, and ended up buying me a whole new outfit for the night. After dinner Ross asked if I wanted to go walk around Nashville, and also asked if his new co worker could come too since it was the weekend and they had been training for a week already. I was a little confused why he wanted him to go, but said yes. After going into a few bars and listening to live music Ross said he wanted to go across the bridge to the other bars. Not thinking much we walked that direction. Brian, Ross's coworker asked if he could borrow my camera as we were walking to take pictures of the buildings around..... He then said pose here, and snapped a picture. As I turned around Ross was reaching into his pocket and said "So Rachael, Will you marry me?" I was so taken back by emotion I broke out in tears and said yes. Ross had planned it perfectly where we were in the middle of the bridge at midnight with the Nashville neon lights in the background. It was PERFECT! | |||
