We enjoy spending time together outdoors and going up to my family cottage on weekends in the summer. Gary is always great with helping out my dad with whatever needs to be done up there. They are always planning new projects to make improvements. One weekend (the victoria Day long weekend) my family was up celebrating the holiday and getting the cottage ready for the summer season - particularly Gary was helping my dad re-build a dock. The weather was unseasonably warm and it was sunny and gorgeous out the whole weekend. On the Sunday, after a great day, I was doing the dishes inside and Gary comes to help me. When we were done he says, "Would you like to go for a boat ride hun?" I said sure! He chose to take the row boat, which I thought was a little strange. He rows us out to a private little cove just around the bend from my cottage, and stops rowing. He pulls the ors up and says, "I really enjoy spending time up here with you and building things with your dad. It's nice to put work and effort into something you are passionate about and want to enjoy for the rest of your life." He pulls a ring out of his pocket and says, "I'd like to build a future with you." Kneels down in the boat... "will you marry me?" I started sobbing and after I caught my breath, said "yes, of course!" We rowed back and jumped out of the boat to tell my family the exciting news. They were thrilled of course. As the sun set, my little brother Adam, made a bon-fire and my sister went on her tablet to get the guitar chords to "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton (our song). Adam, played the song beautifully, and we sat together happier than we've ever been. Because it was the long weekend, neighbours on the lake were shooting off fireworks. The timing was impeccable! It was just amazing!

I would just like to thank all the staff at Best For Bride in Etobikoke for helping my daughter and I find what we were looking for. I can't remember the ladies name that was helping us at the time but she was a tall woman and I believe her name began with a D. My daughter bought her wedding dress there and I bought my dress there as well. We were impressed with the wide selection of dresses that you had to chose from. Hello!

This is much later than I wanted it to be!

I want to thank everyone from Best for Bride who helped me during the hectic planning of my wedding. Everything went off perfectly, and a lot of it had to do with the help of everyone there.

I was worried about getting decor done at an affordable price, but when roaming around on the BFB website, I saw that it was offered. I showed up to the church and was amazed with the aisle drapery! Then showing up at the reception and seeing the head table - it was perfect. Thank you so much.
