Sheri and Rob very special engagement story

On Thursday March 19th, 2010 I proposed to my girlfriend at Casa Mendoza near Toronto. That night I had invited her, my best friend (on video camera) and his wife to help capture the surprise experience. Around 8:30PM I brought her to the piano unknowing to her that I was going to play the intro to a song I had secretly been practicing - You by Jesse Powell. From there, I brought her to the centre of the dance floor to do my proposal. My last surprise, I had my music instructor come down to play the entire ballad, as well as two singers actually do a duet and sing the song! A great night that I'll never forget...
Sheri and I had been together since October 2006, and I just wanted the proposal to be something very special as she means that much to me. Hope you enjoy our story! ~Rob Mahoney and Sheri Ashton |
