Dark Mistress and Steve Proposal on MSN Chat

We through out tradition in our engagement. From day one, we knew this was meant to be. Let's rewind a bit. I guess I can start off by telling you how we actually met. Well for starters, I joined a dating site to simply meet new people in the area. I figured this was a good enough way as any. I was working nights, so not much potential for meeting someone new. I guess you could of called me a work-a-holic.
Moving forward now... I chatted a bit on the site. Wasn't really feeling the whole online dating thing. This is after a few meets in person, that lets say didn't pan out. Instead of looking for in town guys, I decided to widen my search just a little further. About 2 hrs further...hehe. I then came across a very attractive man, that had much of the same interests as myself. I took upon myself to send him a message & moved on... A couple of days later, I received an message from him. Asking if I'd care to chat on msn? I took a leap & said, well why not? Never know unless you try, right? We started chatting on msn. It just seemed flawless. We chatted without knowing what time it was. He was not one to chat very much on the internet, yet he stayed glued to the keyboard & screen. After several chats, we decided, well it's time to meet. We set up a meet about 2 weeks later. His initial thought was lets see if those green eyes are as captivating in person.
He drove up to see me. 1 1/2 hrs later, we met. We went out to eat at a Mexican Restaurant. Mum... food was delicious. We then went to play a few friendly games of pool. No worries gals... I took in the winnings... I wasn't about to let him win. After all, I was me, nothing more, nothing less. A bit of competition never hurt anyone. We then, did not want to call it a night. We went to a local club that was playing an A/C tribute concert. He then became very protective over me, putting his arm around me as we dodged beer being thrown around. Lets say, I took the concert with me that night. Or more or less wore it, haha. We still loved the show. Amazing tribute! We then went for a drive. Enjoying each others company so much. We ended the night with a kiss. Ladies, you'll be happy to know...the date didn't end there. He was just about to leave to drive to go back home. When he had his hand on the steering wheel & as crazy as it sounds. I asked him if he wanted to stay, as I figured he might not want to drive home this late at night. He eagerly said, "Sure. I really didn't want to leave. Not ready for this date to end between us." Lets just say the date started on a Friday & he didn't go home till Sunday. That's how much pull we had for one another. He then left that Sunday & promised to return. Two months pass & he keeps driving up on Friday, going back on Sunday every weekend. Regardless of weather, nothing stopped him from seeing me. On a Sunday of his arrival back to his house. We chatted a bit on MSN. We started having a pretty heated conversation, about what we wanted out of life. I am not sure why however, we felt an instant connection & level of comfort neither one of us felt before. We could talk about things we normally would not. An overwhelming feeling came over me & proposed to him right there on MSN Chat. I guess it was just suiting, since we did after all meet over the internet. Here is the actual proposal: Dark_Mistress says: do you have doubts with me? Steve (SEXY!!!) says: none Dark_Mistress says: any? Steve (SEXY!!!) says: no doubts Dark_Mistress says: then here goes... never thought I'd ask this...but.. it feels too right... make me your wife... Marry me! Dark_Mistress says: I'm asking... Dark_Mistress says: it's crazy I know.. Dark_Mistress says: but I want you Dark_Mistress says: never been so sure in my life Dark_Mistress says: Marry me Steve... Steve (SEXY!!!) says: I will manon Dark_Mistress says: what? Steve (SEXY!!!) says: YES Dark_Mistress says: Steve (SEXY!!!) says: I want this as much as you do This is where I dropped the keyboard ... HAHA. I then called him & we spoke for an hour. 1 yr later he moved to my city to be with me. Then 2 years after that we built our house & we've been enjoying every new adventure that's come our way. I guess you can say we were on the fast lane to making it happen for the two of us. Now next year 2012. We finally aim to close that union in Riviera Maya, in Mexico. Why not bring paradise to Mexico. I'm sure we'll enjoy more than each other's company. There is after all the scenery. |
