Jaclynn and Luis Engagement Story with unforgettable dinner

We were out to dinner with friends for a Christmas gathering when all of a sudden while we were waiting for our desserts a bottle of champagne arrived. I was puzzled as to why we had this and started asking what's with the champagne, my friend said we are celebrating the season and when I looked over at my now fiancé (Luis) he just shrugged his shoulders like he had no idea. So as the waitress was pouring us glasses of champagne I continued my conversation with my friend and then I felt a small tap on my shoulder and in a soft voice I hear my name "Jaclynn". I looked over at Luis and there he was down on his knee with a ring box in his hand and having a hard time opening it as he was shaking. Then he said in a shaky voice "Marry me; be my wife?". I was speechless, but once he got the box opened and was putting the ring on my finger all I kept on saying was "YES, YES". Our table of friends started cheering then the rest of our section of the restaurant started looking over to see what was going on and when they realized what had just happened they started clapping. The manager came over and congratulated us and offered a round of shots in celebration. It was the best and unforgettable dinner out I have ever had. |
