My Fiance and I met 6 years ago, through a mutual friend. Our relationship has been up and down, and long distance, local distance, and long distance again, and now we've settled being local (in the same city) again...
On a mid August Afternoon, my fiance (boyfriend at the time) had asked me to lunch. As we were finishing lunch, he received a phone call that seemed upsetting (by the look on his face). It had seemed like someone was canceling some kind of important event. I asked him who that was, and he didn't answer, so we just left it at that. We decided to just go drive back to my house. I asked him again who canceled an appointment with him (getting kind of suspicious now for all different kinds of reasons). He finally gave in, and told me that he had arranged a hot air balloon ride, but the guy called and said it was way too windy outside .... Now I had suspected how he'd propose for months now, and it hit me that with the guy canceling, my bf wouldn't be proposing that day .... So we just watched TV the entire afternoon, and I fell asleep. When I woke up, he was on the floor with a ring ... |
