I met my fiancé though a mutual friend. Our first time meeting was in May 2014 and 10 minutes in to our first date we were hit by a drunk driver. It has been the longest two years dealing with recovery, but he has not for one second left my side. He has made an unbelievable partner and will be an incredible husband. He has been my rock during this time.
In April 2016, he surprised me with a trip to Chicago for my first time to see my favourite Hockey Team play. During the game, the mascot of the Chicago Blackhawks maid his way up to our section. He came over to me with a giant gift bag and began to unroll a sign. It read; "Celia will you Marry Victor?" Before I could finish reading it the crowd was going wild, little did I know Victor was on one knee behind me! Of course I said YES!! And streamers exploded from the ceiling. It was the best moment of my entire life, and I can't wait to Marry my best friend! |
