Vanessa and Anthony - Christmas Proposal Story

Anthony and I had been together for 6.5 years. I always knew we were going to get married. He knew how much I loved Christmas and how its my favourite day of the year. We decided to go to the Toronto Christmas Market on December 6 after we had finished dropping off gifts for a family that we adopted for the holidays. I was so excited because we had never been and it was so nice to take a break from the busy holiday season. While we were at the Christmas Market, I started to get cold and asked if we could go. He did everything he could to try to get me to stay a little longer. He asked if I wanted to get something to eat that was all the way on the other side, asked if I wanted to wait for the lights to come on, asked if I wanted to make another trip to the HUGE tree, everything and anything he could think of to keep up there just a little longer.
We went to the tree one last time and took a few pictures. He was hugging me and said "Do you love me?" I said "Of course. I wouldn't be with you for so long if I didn't!" he said "Would you marry me?" I said to him "Of course I would marry you! I've been planning our wedding on Pinterest for over a year!" I didn't even realize that he was holding the ring out for me to see and he had to ask me again. When I realized I just started to cry and obviously I said yes! He told me that there were people around us clapping and cheering and I didn't even see any of that! I was so shocked and I really had absolutely no idea! We moved over to the side and I started to realize what was happening. I told him that I had to call my mom and he said that she knows, which I thought was impossible because my mom can't keep a secret! I called my mom, his mom and my cousin who is my maid of honour and we all cried! It was truly the best and most memorable day of my life. Especially since I didn't even realize what was going on and I told him I have been planning our wedding on pinterest! We are getting married on November 5, 2016 and I could not be more excited!
