Every bride-to-be has a specific body type which may be small, medium or large. These body types are known as ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph. If you're small boned and delicate, with a lean build, you'll look best in a sleek gown that hugs your body, such as a slip dress design or mermaid-style wedding gown. Your body type doesn't need tons of ruffles or embellishments, because ectomorphs like you are naturally elegant. Keep it sophisticated for the best results. Ladies with medium builds are mesomorphs, and they usually have hourglass figures. Play up your natural shape with a princess-style bridal gown that shows off your waist and balances your bosom and hips. Look for gowns with built-in supportive elements, such as corsets. Ladies with endomorph body types should choose stunning gowns that hug their curves, without being too tight or showing too much skin. Examples include elegant strapless gowns with sheer lace overlays. Gowns that feature lacing in the back will allow women with more voluptuous builds to enjoy ultimate fit as they walk down the aisle. Every body type is beautiful!
