Accidents happen, even on a woman's wedding day! If you've spilled wine on your bridal gown, you may be in a bit of a panic. Luckily, there are some ways to cope with this sort of fashion emergency. The first step is dabbing at the stain with a lightly moistened, clean white towel. Never soak the towel before you begin working on the stain. Too much water is very bad for certain wedding gown fabrics, such as silk and rayon. Once you've dabbed at the stain, you may want to try a vinegar and water solution, which you may also apply with a moistened towel. Take your time, be gentle, and don't scrub away at the delicate fabric of your dress. More home remedies for wine spills include soda water for white wine stains, and baking soda for red wine stains.
