It gives of the illusion almost that it is on fire, but if you want a more toned down composition it would be easy enough to choose from the more subtle colors. For a playful accent, add a few loose petals and some tea lights to scatter around its base. This will work better with big tables that have more space, and will help avoid having your guests having to crane their necks around it to converse.
