Our proposal may not have been your typical down on one knee event, but it was completely us and even a little comical.
Well I guess it starts when Dustin asked My dads permission when we had gone to visit them (easter 2009) he knew he wouldn't get another chance to do it in person for quite some time. Of course i had no idea that this went on and Dust still hadn't found a ring that he liked and wanted to go hiking up in the mountains (we love hiking) and it was cold so he was also waiting for the weather to warm up.
The weather finally warmed up and Dust decided to take me and Xavier (our two year old at the time) to Lake louise. the problem was that by the time the weather had warmed up I was now about 4 months pregnant with our second little one. Lake louise has a fairly easy hike around the lake. When we got to lake louise it was busy, like crazy busy, there were tons of people even on the trail. so we didn't have even a minute where there wasn't someone around. we made it about 30 minutes down the trail before I had to go to the bathroom. I said "Dust we have to turn around i gotta pee" and he was like "why don't we keep going just a little bit" "cause i have to pee!" i said he then tried to convince me to go in the woods to which i said "Oh ya with all of theses people around! there's a perfectly good bathroom 30 minutes down the trail and thats where i'm going!" i didn't understand why he was so upset about this, the rest of the day he was just grumpy. So when we were on our way home and Dust announced that we were going hiking again tomorrow at heart creek i said that that sounded awesome.
Heart creek is a hike we do allot and it's a pretty easy trail that we usually do, so when i woke up and my feet were a bit swollen I didn't think anything of putting my flip flops on it was an easy walk and they'd be comfy. when we got there Dust informed us that he had decided that we weren't going on our regular trail that we were gonna go up the scramble going up the mountain instead. This trail was steep, i mean really steep it was about an 80 degree angle going straight up the mountain. it was so steep that Xavier on all fours trying to climb up was just sliding down. Dust ended up having to cary him.
We finally made it to a place that kind of leveled off a bit and i just collapsed. i mean sprawled on the ground out of breath collapsed (keep in mind that i was 4 months pregnant and in flip flops) i said "Dust i need water!" (he also had the back pack) Dustin knelt down in front on me with the back pack in front of him, but we were still kind of on a slope so i didn't think anything of him kneeling, and he started going on about how much he loved me i finally cut him off and said "Dust i love you too but i really need some water!" he ignored me and kept going about how there's no one he would rather have up a mountain with him then me and Xavier "awww that sweet can i have some water now please!" i replied a little annoyed. Dust ignores me again and keeps going about he couldn't imagine his life with out us, Me, not catching on at all and annoyed that he was ignoring me, cuts him off and says "that really nice Dust now can i have some freaking water!!" and he yelled "thats why i'm trying to ask you to marry me!!" "are you joking?" i said "cause if your joking i'm gonna knock you back down this mountain!" "i'm not joking" Dust said "Look" and he pulled the ring out of the bag that was in front of him. Well that shut me up lol and you know i dont think i did get my drink of water. :D

I had a amazing experience here. People in the staff very helpful. Katrin was my seamstress. She just hemmed me for my new wedding dress and I am getting married on August 6 I am very excited but the help year was just delightful and and everyone was so helpful and I am very appreciative. I'll be recommending to all of my friends.

I don't even know what to say I am just SO GRATEFUL that you had the patience to help me to get through this SO THANK YOU.
I wanted to thank everyone at best for bride once again for the wonderful service I received. When I arrived at your store I was pretty nervous. I had no idea what I was looking for, what would suite me or what I even wanted. My mother has been ill the last little while, and dress shopping was not something she could really participate in, making the ordeal that much more stressful. The staff at best for bride treated me like a daughter from the selection, to the fittings, right down to the alterations. I was so happy with my dress and it was well within budget. I got so many complements about my dress on and after the wedding day.
