Saturday morning, myself and my girlfriend Kathy have a ritual. One of us gets up drives to Tim Horton's down the road, brings breakfast home and we curl up on the couch with our puppy and watch Saturday mornings TV line up. This Saturday morning was going to be no different, or so Kathy thought.
For weeks prior I had been working with a friend to create the prefect Roll Up The Rim surprise. I had planned on Kathy rolling up the rim to find a marriage proposal. It took a couple test cups but I finally had it right. The printed paper turned out perfectly the glue was setting on the cup just right. I was even able to roll the rim back down pretty easily. Saturday morning came around and I woke up early and headed to Tim's. I got back to find Kathy already curled up with a blanket on the couch. We had our usual breakfast sandwiches, steeped tea and of course hash browns. Watching TV I became so anxious I couldn't wait for Kathy to finish. She eventually sat up and took off the lid of her cup. She immediately knew she had a winning cup. When she rolled up the rim completely she saw the words "Will you marry me? S.V.P" she immediately started to cry. I got down on one knee with the ring and asked her to marry me. The answer was of course "Yes!" Once she has gotten over the initial surprise, we kissed and held each other, laughing and joking around about how great the proposal went. I asked Kathy "Are you happy?" in her usual humor she responded "Well ... I was kind of hoping for the car, but I will take a husband instead, I love you".
So today I tried on a lot of different dresses. Everyone had a lot of patience with me since there are were a lot of dresses. It's was a lot of fun though, it's really relaxed atmosphere, it was nice, I felt comfortable here and we had a lot of fun and laughs and jokes. It was really great and I FOUND MY DRESS.

I loved it and I love this atmosphere. It's really really comfortable area to be and it's nice to be here with my sister.
So tell me about your experience at Barrie Best for Bride.
When I walked in they were very welcoming and greeting and it is so beautiful and big store and able to go and take a look at all the dresses and styles and go and actually pick some out ourselves that we would like to try on instead of having consultant just pick ones for you. And very comfortable, very big, open spaces, able to look and try different things. And plenty of time, no pressure, a lot of time to take a look around, try on all different dresses that I wanted to. Everything was great and really wonderful.
And we FOUND THE DRESS.
Yeah, we found the dress.

I had a great experience today. I have been looking for a dress for a few months now and I came in and there was a great selection and I found the perfect dress and I couldn't be happier because of the great weight they lifted of my shoulders.

Thank you for making my wedding day such a fantastic experience. When the first dress I purchased didn't work out (3 weeks before my wedding!), the seamstress Laryssa took me under her wing. When she was aware of my previous mishap and rendered it 'unfixable', she personally took me upstairs and recommended a new dress. She instilled confidence in me about the choice and went above and beyond to ensure that the new dress would be tailored and ready to go in record time. Linda was also extremely helpful acting as a cheerleader and helping to co-ordinate logistics. On the wedding day, I couldn't believe the number of compliments about the dress and I am so thrilled with the way it turned out. My day was made perfect through the hard-working and accomodating staff at the Etobicoke Best for Bride, and in particular, Laryssa & Linda.
