Chad & Skye
Me and Chad met in 2003. I had a huge crush on him but he already had a girlfriend. In 2005 he dumped his girlfriend and asked me out. It only lasted 3 days but it broke my heart. I decided to give up and try to find another guy.
In 2005 he asked me out June 18th at midnight. I told him I wasn't sure but he really wanted to give it a try. We both decided it would only be a summer romance since he was going to college. At the end of August he was leaving, we both cried and then we both agreed to give the long distance thing a try. Here we are 5 years later, living together and getting married. Now on to the proposal story.
Me and Chad talked about getting married and starting a family, all the things couples talk about. But we both didn't have any money and was living with his parents. We decided to wait and when it happens it happens. Or so I thought...I was getting really anxious and wanting to get engaged since I knew he was the one. We had the money in 2009 and we were moving out soon. So I was wondering and wondering..."When will it happen??" Well............here it is...the funny story just getting to the day. ..there was a couple of problems.
Problem #1: At first I thought he was going propose on my birthday. My sister said it was something expensive and he said "something I wanted for a long time." So me and my coworker thought he was going to propose.. instead it was a ps3.
Problem #2: 4 days before he was going to propose we got a bill in the mail. I like to check all the mail so I opened it and it said "Please pay 2000 dollars by this date." I freaked out and asked him what did he spend 2000 dollars on! He told me "The credit card company made a mistake." I told him to call and fix the problem. He pretended to call the the bank and he said everything was fixed. - Poor guy!
Problem #3: Here we were June 19th 2009. The BIG day! It was our 4 year anniversary so he decided to take me out to the fishbowl (my favorite place!) He said he wanted a special table and they told him he would have to wait 20 mins. He told them "We will wait." I didn't want to wait to I complained and complained. He told me to sit at the bar and he ordered me a drink. I was angry we had to wait...
We finally got out table and we ordered dinner. We talked and held hands, shared food and had a good time. Before we got dessert he pulled out a black box. He opened it up and said "Skye Constantini, I know you are my one and only and I know I want to have a family with you, and grow old with you. But most importantly I know I love you." He got down on one knee in front of everybody! and said "Will you marry me?" I started to cry and I said "Yes" and he put the ring on my finger and kissed me on the lips. It was so beautiful and he was so perfect.
We are now getting married on June 2 2011 in Jamaica!

It was perfect. It was very helpful. I am pretty sure I found my dress, I don't know which one but I know I found it. For all of you brides that have no idea what you are looking for you'll be taken care of. It's very comforting and it was a really good experience.

We came in today because I'm gonna panic because I'm gonna marry in two weeks and I absolutely hated my dress so I just mentioned a few things what I wanted and she pulled, the first dress that she pulled I put on and I loved it fits in and out in and out in literally in 25 minutes steaming it all. Yeah

Everyone who assisted me with my dress were extremely kind and helpful, especially the seamstress who helped me with my fitting! I am so glad that I found your website online, and I recommend you to everyone! I just wanted to share some photos from my special day, which took place August 7th 2009 in Victoria BC, and also from my trash the dress sesh that took place the following day (thats right! I got to wear my dress twice!) My dress was from the Mori Lee collection, style 6305.

I loved both of my visits to your store. Denise & Donna were wonderful and I found their comments on the dresses very helpful. The atmosphere at the store is very easy going and not rushed like the big city stores where you have your time slot and move on.... I also love the "walk down the aisle" experience you definitely get to see your dress from every view point.
