It all started on December 20th, 2008, after a friend introduced us, Greger asked me to drive up 40 minutes to see him after a month or so of talking over the phone; I went, took on the winter storm and never looked back. Flash forward 2 years and 10 months, October 29th, we wake up and Greger is itching to leave the house. Thinking that he just needed a little alone time - he claimed to be helping a friend move a fridge - I knew better. I was at home studying and I move up to the bedroom where I stayed when he got home. He was in the garage "messing around" then came upstairs to ask if I wanted to carve pumpkins (at 1pm!) Now I knew something was up but never would I have guessed that my life was about to change forever.
I finally agree to come downstairs and the table was all set up; Pumpkins strategically places, newspaper down, carving tools ready and as always, I get my camera out the document the moment. I asked him about the funny faces he was making and he claimed, "It was just coming to him", wiping sweat off his brow, making surprised adorable faces - it was out of character for him. If only I had known! About 10 minutes in, I'm cutting the top off my pumpkin making fun of his for looking SO messy and my KNIFE BREAKS!! How does this happen? We get me a new knife and away I go, pull the top off and bam! Inside is a tiny plastic bag with a perfect diamond ring in it, after the confusion faded, I looked over to see Greger on his knee and the words that flowed perfectly out of his mouth then seemed like a blur; now ring through my head as a constant reminder that I will forever be happy, in love, and have my best friend by my side until death do us part.
So tell me about your experience at Barrie Best for Bride.
When I walked in they were very welcoming and greeting and it is so beautiful and big store and able to go and take a look at all the dresses and styles and go and actually pick some out ourselves that we would like to try on instead of having consultant just pick ones for you. And very comfortable, very big, open spaces, able to look and try different things. And plenty of time, no pressure, a lot of time to take a look around, try on all different dresses that I wanted to. Everything was great and really wonderful.
And we FOUND THE DRESS.
Yeah, we found the dress.
Please tell me your experience with the alterations seamstress Katrine.
Oh Best or Bride has the best staff ever. Katrine was nothing but a joy and pleasure. She was fabulous and she had really great ideas too on how to alter my dress and she didn't stick us with a single pin.
Thanks ladies.
How was your experience at Best For Bride?
I had a amazing experience here. People in the staff very helpful. Katrin was my seamstress. She just hemmed me for my new wedding dress and I am getting married on August 6 I am very excited but the help year was just delightful and and everyone was so helpful and I am very appreciative. I'll be recommending to all of my friends.
Oh, thank you very much.
Thank you so much for your professionalism and for my amazing dress!!
It came on time, it looked even more beautiful than the description and I
had little girls pointing and waving at me on my walk to the ceremony.
I had never felt more like a princess than on my special day.
Thank you, again, for making my day one of a kind.

I am so happy with my service at Best of Brides. I was always greeted with a smiling face and Denise and Maureen were amazing! They were so helpful, honest and were very accommodating. Kat did the alterations and the dress fit like it was made just for me. I will recommend this shop to any friend or family looking for bridal wear.
I wanted to thank you so very much for the beautiful dress I purchased from you this past summer from the Etobicoke store! Everyone who assisted me with my dress were extremely kind and helpful, especially the seamstress who helped me with my fitting! I am so glad that I found your website online, and I recommend you to everyone! I just wanted to share some photos from my special day, which took place August 7th 2009 in Victoria BC, and also from my trash the dress sesh that took place the following day (thats right! I got to wear my dress twice!) My dress was from the Mori Lee collection, style 6305.
Thank you all again,
Annette McLean (formerly Zwambag)
