For our four year anniversary, my boyfriend took me up to Boyne Mountain Resort for a romantic ski weekend getaway. As soon as we arrived, we brought our luggage to the room and immediately changed into our ski attire. We headed up the mountain and got a few runs in. When we got off one of the lifts, the view was beautiful. I suggested that we take some photos of each other. A man who worked there asked if we would like a photo of us together, and I gladly accepted. I gave him my camera, and he took a picture. My boyfriend said, "take another one". As I reached to put my hand around him, he wasn't there. I looked over, and he was on one knee, holding a ring and smiling. He said, "Will you marry me?", and I was so shocked I don't even remember if i said yes! The man took an amazing picture of me in shock, and Mike on bended knee, and another one of me kissing him (when I obviously accepted and told him I loved him).
It didn't end there. We skied down to the lodge and had a drink to calm both of our nerves. After that we headed up to our room where he had arranged for champagne and decadent chocolate treats to be waiting for me. He also planned a beautiful dinner at a restaurant downtown where we had our own private table on a stage in front of the entire restaurant!
It still didn't end there. A few weeks later he brought me out for what I thought was a nice dinner alone. I walked into the restaurant only to find all of my friends and family at my very own surprise engagement party! (My family and close friends live 3 hours away from me.) He had gotten rooms for everyone to stay at a hotel with us so we could all celebrate all night long! <3
If that's not true love, I don't know what is!

When I walked in they were very welcoming and greeting and it is so beautiful and big store and able to go and take a look at all the dresses and styles and go and actually pick some out ourselves that we would like to try on instead of having consultant just pick ones for you. And very comfortable, very big, open spaces, able to look and try different things. And plenty of time, no pressure, a lot of time to take a look around, try on all different dresses that I wanted to. Everything was great and really wonderful.
And we FOUND THE DRESS.
Yeah, we found the dress.
Ladies please tell me about your experience at Best For Bride.
Our experience was just amazing, the ladies here were extremely helpful. They even picked out a dress for you but you didn't even think will look great and it just was amazing. They were very helpful, very personable. I would definitely recommend this store to all my friends. Yeah, pretty much you summed it all up in those words. I never would have put that dress on me and she just said "Put it on" and I loved it and I stood in it for I think half an hour and I definitely love it and it's gonna look amazing like in the color that we want to be for your wedding and the help we got has been the best I have seen so far. It's has been perfect. Being the bride was definitely a great experience. It was kind of experience you always dream of ... going in and getting all the help. If you have ever seen "Say Yes to the Dress" Kleinfeld, it's like that in Canada. You get to come in (but more polite) and more personal. It's a small cute little store you get pampered pretty much and that's what everyone wants but they are not pushy. No. No.

My experience at Best for Bride has been AMAZING. As soon as I walked in the door it was like ... rack full of dresses just for me.
As you can see ... I have my beautiful dress and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day and I sooo excited and I truly say thank you for helping me find my PERFECT wedding dress.

I want to thank everyone from Best for Bride who helped me during the hectic planning of my wedding. Everything went off perfectly, and a lot of it had to do with the help of everyone there.
I was worried about getting decor done at an affordable price, but when roaming around on the BFB website, I saw that it was offered. I showed up to the church and was amazed with the aisle drapery! Then showing up at the reception and seeing the head table - it was perfect. Thank you so much.

I bought two "mother of the groom" dresses from Denise at Best for Bride in Barrie. The first wedding was on April 29, 2011. I have attached a picture showing the mother of the groom dress.
