Greg, my fiance, and I had celebrated our 9th year together a few days prior to his proposal. We had just gone to bed. I was laying comfortably in his arms and he and I were talking about the days events. Then he said, "Will you marry me?" to which I just plainly said "yes". This was a fairly routine thing for us to say to each other. So I was super surprised whith what happened next! Greg says to me, "You know, there's something I want to do, but I'm nervous." I replied, "There's no need to be nervous. it's just us. What is it?" I could feel his nervous energy as he reached into his nightstand drawer and removed something. I couldn't see what it was yet because it was dark. He said, "I wanted to do this on our anniversary, but couldn't find a way to do it." Then he opened up his cell phone to produce light so I could see what he was holding. And there it was - my Grandmother's engagement ring in a beautiful box! Greg said, "Will you mary me?" and I said "yes" about a dozen times as I cried. Most certainly one of the best moments of my life! Greg is AMAZING! He's my rock, my personal comedian, my go-to-for-everything guy, my everything. I love you Greg!! Thank-you for chosing me to be your forever girl. I am honoured.
So tell me about your experience at Best for Bride.
Well, I spent some time in the big city. I thought may be I can go there and find some styles and being a little larger was not exactly easy but I came to Barrie, saw the girls at Best for Bride and they hooked me up. I had a much better experience, so much more fun and the girls really listened to what you want and you can be goofy and it is fun and it is OK. It does not have to be a stressful experience. So I would highly recommend and if you are looking for a gown and for a good time come to Best for Bride.
So today I tried on a lot of different dresses. Everyone had a lot of patience with me since there are were a lot of dresses. It's was a lot of fun though, it's really relaxed atmosphere, it was nice, I felt comfortable here and we had a lot of fun and laughs and jokes. It was really great and I FOUND MY DRESS.
That's great and congratulations and what did you think?
I loved it and I love this atmosphere. It's really really comfortable area to be and it's nice to be here with my sister.
Please tell me your experience at Best for Bride.
We had a wonderful experience. I came in to find a dress for my niece's wedding and I found the perfect dress and the girls were great to alter it. I came back a month later and and it was altered wonderfully and I can't say enough. They are very friendly and accommodating and we've had everything. Everything has been great, has been wonderful.
Wonderful, thank you.
Here is pic of our beautiful day as promised...thank you so much for the dress it was perfect. Everyone just loved it and I received a lot of compliments. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends.
I'm sending along 2 pictures from my wedding day on January 22, 2011.
I loved my dress! Everyone loved my dress! It added to the wonderful day all together.
My experience buying the dress was very pleasant and easy.
Thank you to everyone that helped me.
Sincerely,
Karman Jiri
I bought two "mother of the groom" dresses from Denise at Best for Bride in Barrie. The first wedding was on April 29, 2011. I have attached a picture showing the mother of the groom dress. The next wedding is June 25 - I will send the picture after that. The bride wore a dress that was made by a friend. I would like to thank Denise for a wonderful experience I had.
