Distance. Funny how it always tends to keep people apart. But that wasn't always our case. This 8 year journey started right down the street... when she moved into my neighborhood as a young teenager. Come to think of it, that one block proved to be too distant. She said her parents disapproved of my age (I'm 3 years older), but we both knew my ethnicity played a major role in why I couldn't visit her residence...much less date her. We agreed to meet halfway on a corner lot to talk. And that's where our friendship really blossomed. It became our regular meeting place. Even when we moved away for college; and further still, to start our careers. Throughout the years, we'd return to our lot. Our haven.
Tears. Laughter. Advice. Stories. A few quick kisses when heart strings tugged harder than self-control. We turned that place into our own hiding spot. In plain sight. Many times the words were left unspoken. The comfortable silence and sideways glances would say it all.
Now young adults free from parental scorn, it was the negative pairing of "distance" and "relationship" which handcuffed us with doubt. Amor de lejos es amor de pendejos. That's what I was told. Long distance relationships just don't work. And, yet, we continued to toe the line. Always aware of the "why", always short of the "how". We'd spend the following years in failed relationships, find solace in each other's phone call, and continue on.
Then one day, she'd had enough. Enough mistreatment. Enough mistakes. Enough pretending friendship was where our buck stopped. She made the 450 mile leap of faith and with one kiss, sealed the deal.
A few years later, we returned to our spot for old times' sake.
I dropped to one knee.
She cried and nodded her head.
And as I stood up, the distance forever faded away.

We landed in here on Saturday afternoon unannounced and Donna and Denise were awesome. We spent last only 3 or 4 hours in here trying on a hundred dresses and then leaving with my ideal dress. Awesome place I would recommend anybody to come here at any time. They give great service, great prices, great atmosphere. Thank you.
I just want to thank everybody at Best for Bride for helping me select my dress. Everybody thought I was crazy for waiting two weeks before my wedding to get the dress and I came in yesterday and purchasing my dress today and I am getting it altered tomorrow and it will be ready in five days. Thanks guys!

My wedding day was absolutely amazing and my dress was part of the reason why it was exactly that.
I had been shopping for exactly the right dress for my full figure and curves and did not really feel comfortable with my other experiences at other stores until I came to your store. All the sales clerks were helpful. The price was perfect and it arrived on time well in advance of the wedding date.

Dear Olga, I would like to say how much I enjoyed using your company to order my bridesmaids dresses from. From the first contact I had immediate responses from you with answers to my enquiries regarding sizes, colour, cost delivery- everything was answered that day or the day after due to the time difference. When I called the shop I got a very good response as well- cannot fault anything about the ordering process. Very straight forward and easy to do as you supported me and helped me with all my enquiries. I was kept in contact the whole time waiting for my dresses so there was no worry that they were not going to be here on time - which is a bit of a concern when I order something from the internet and especially something so important but I felt very confident I had chosen the best company to buy them from. When the dresses came I was delighted with them! They were absolutely perfectly made and even more lovely than in the picture! They were slightly crushed as I had 2 dresses in a small box but the creases fell out overnight and the dresses were stunning. My bridesmaids loved them and looked absolutely beautiful on our day I was so proud of them and everyone commented at how beautiful they looked. You can see in the pictures just how lovely they were. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Olga throughout my order and she could not have been more helpful and more prompt at replying to my emails and enquiries. I'm not sure who I spoke to on the phone but they were helpful too. Overall I experienced an absolute delightful customer service and excellent quality of dresses and made our wedding day just that extra bit special Many thanks for all your help and I will be recommending you to all of my friends
I had soooo many compliments on my wedding dress! I have some early photos to share with you here but I try to send the professional ones when they are ready.
